FEAR and WONDER

My work explores the fear and wonder of the unknown. Through a delicate fusion of whimsy, rage, and existential despair, these sculptures articulate a visceral frustration with the profound insensitivities of our contemporary world.

Sean James Harrington is a sculptor based in Greene, RI.

Working from a modular steel arch building, he utilizes a century-old blacksmith forge alongside modern welding equipment to create his steel sculptures. His work explores the fear and wonder found within the complexities of the natural world and beyond.
